Here is a poem I was recently forced to write for a wedding.  It's pretty corny and it took me about 20 minutes to write:

i can’t understand, where all the time has went
looking into your eyes
it all seems to melt away
i never want to forget

i’m always asking questions, never sure of the answers
things come together
dancing through the sky
i can’t live without you

i’m often in doubt, wishing the world to turn my way
from your gentle touch
the world revolves
i always knew you were the one

i feel so lost, when the pressure pushes to break
just a knowing glance
from the corner of your eye
i’ll hold on and never let go 

i sometimes feel, like it will all spin out of control
my heart beats so fast
it leaves me short of breath
i will love you until the end of time 

i’ve never seen, the sun shine like today
you’ve made me feel so free
giving you my soul
i’ll take your hand and we’ll dance through it all
